The role supports regional implementation of Ethiopia’s national TVET strategy, strengthening policy, governance, and private‑sector engagement to enhance quality, relevance, and inclusivity of vocational training.
Responsibilities
- Support regional TVET bureaus in implementing national TVET strategy
- Establish and maintain M&E systems aligned with national standards
- Track policies and trends for capacity building
- Collaborate with private sector on HR needs and training initiatives
- Advise on regional TVET centers of excellence
- Promote gender equality and social inclusion in TVET
- Coordinate with GIZ partners for coherence and impact
