Lead private sector development initiatives in Afar by managing projects, supporting women entrepreneurs through AfWEA, and advancing MSME resilience and access to finance.
Responsibilities
- Provide project management support for Recovery Support in Afar
- Steer contracts with implementing partners and develop operational plans
- Support AfWEA in planning and delivering key activities for women entrepreneurs
- Assist AfWEA in expanding membership, building partnerships, and mobilizing resources
- Strengthen day-to-day operations and service delivery of AfWEA
- Monitor regional trends in business development services and access to finance
- Present and represent the PSD-E project in stakeholder meetings
