The Cost Accountant will manage various accounting functions, including invoicing, tax reconciliation, cost analysis, payroll, inventory, and receivables, ensuring accurate financial reporting under the supervision of senior management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sales invoices using cash register machine
- Issue store requests for sold items with supporting documents
- Post all invoices, receipts, GRN and SIV into appropriate income and cost accounts
- Register and reconcile sales-related government taxes in Excel by the 10th of each month
- Create cost build-up sheets on Excel
- Process monthly payroll and commissions
- Prepare rent and gym service schedules and reconcile with contractual agreements
- Reconcile AR subsidiary account with controlling account
- Reconcile monthly inventory with store reports
- Follow up customer ledger and collections
- Report collections and receivables monthly via email
- Handle refund sales with ERCA and finalize them
- Perform additional tasks assigned by senior staff
