The Protection Assistant – PCM supports vulnerable beneficiaries by implementing protection case‑management activities, conducting risk assessments, developing safety plans, and maintaining accurate records to inform programmatic responses.
Responsibilities
- Implement protection case‑management activities per international standards
- Conduct intake interviews, risk assessments, and develop tailored safety plans
- Maintain case management database and enter client data on DRC IM system or Excel
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to the supervisor
- Assist in establishing an integrated protection case‑management centre
- Support protection monitoring team with trend analysis and response recommendations
- Ensure ethical data collection and proper documentation of all cases
