About the Role

The role involves implementing protection monitoring activities across IDP/refugee sites and host communities in Dabat, Ethiopia, focusing on field visits, data management, risk identification, and reporting to support humanitarian response.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct protection monitoring visits in assigned areas
  • Collect, encode and upload data using Kobo or Activity Info
  • Identify individuals at risk and refer for specialized assistance
  • Support individual protection assistance coordination
  • Monitor beneficiaries’ access to services and effectiveness of referrals
  • Collaborate with Community Based Protection Networks on awareness raising
  • Maintain data collection in line with protection principles and SOPs
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
