Protection Assistant - GBV Caseworker

About the Role

The role delivers confidential case management, referrals, counseling, and data reporting for gender‑based violence survivors in Ethiopia, supporting the Danish Refugee Council’s protection team.

Responsibilities

• Provide confidential GBV case management services to survivors
• Conduct referrals and follow‑ups with relevant support services
• Offer counseling and emotional support groups
• Maintain accurate data in GBVIMS and other tracking systems
• Deliver basic GBV training to community structures
• Ensure strict confidentiality and survivor-centred approach
• Participate in supervision, team meetings and quality monitoring
