The Protection Assistant – GBV Caseworker will deliver confidential case management and referral services to survivors of gender‑based violence in Sanja, Ethiopia, while supporting data management, training, and monitoring activities for the Danish Refugee Council’s protection program.
Responsibilities
- Provide GBV case management services following SOPs
- Conduct referrals and ensure follow‑up
- Offer counselling to survivors
- Manage data entry into GBVIMS
- Facilitate emotional support groups
- Deliver basic GBV trainings
- Raise gaps in response services
- Monitor and evaluate projects
- Engage community representatives
- Maintain confidentiality of survivor information
- Support additional protection activities as assigned
