About the Role

The role involves implementing community-based protection activities in Humera and Maikadra, Ethiopia, by mapping stakeholders, building capacity of local networks, providing technical support, monitoring implementation, and contributing to reporting and exit strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct stakeholder mapping and assess existing community-based structures
  • Identify and strengthen Community-Based Protection Networks or Focal Points
  • Facilitate capacity building training for CBPN/CBP-FPs
  • Provide technical support for protection analysis, action plan development and implementation
  • Ensure adherence to DRC’s Community-Based Protection guidelines
  • Support monitoring, evaluation and reporting of project activities
  • Engage with community representatives, local authorities and stakeholders
  • Maintain documentation and report writing for donor and internal use
