The role involves implementing community-based protection activities in Humera and Maikadra, Ethiopia, by mapping stakeholders, building capacity of local networks, providing technical support, monitoring implementation, and contributing to reporting and exit strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder mapping and assess existing community-based structures
- Identify and strengthen Community-Based Protection Networks or Focal Points
- Facilitate capacity building training for CBPN/CBP-FPs
- Provide technical support for protection analysis, action plan development and implementation
- Ensure adherence to DRC’s Community-Based Protection guidelines
- Support monitoring, evaluation and reporting of project activities
- Engage with community representatives, local authorities and stakeholders
- Maintain documentation and report writing for donor and internal use
