The Finance Specialist is responsible for managing donor budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting across a multi‑donor portfolio in Addis Ababa. They ensure compliance with donor requirements, strengthen ERP data integrity, provide coaching to finance staff, and deliver high‑quality financial insights to support decision making.
Responsibilities
- Lead donor budgeting and proposal development for multiple international donors
- Own end‑to‑end donor financial reporting cycle and quality control
- Coach and manage monthly BFU meetings, variance analysis, and corrective actions
- Provide financial analysis, forecasting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning
- Ensure data quality, compliance with donor and statutory requirements
- Strengthen use of ERP Dynamics and produce analytics from ERP outputs
- Coordinate cross‑functional inputs for budgets, reports, and audits
- Mentor finance staff remotely on budgeting, reporting, and Excel/ERP skills
- Automate processes and develop standard templates and SOPs
- Support audit and partner reviews as needed
