The Base Manager will oversee all operational and programmatic activities at the Humera base, coordinating a multi-sectoral response with partners, managing staff and resources, ensuring compliance with donor and DRC policies, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships to support humanitarian objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational and programmatic planning for the base
- Supervise staff, finance, admin, HR, procurement and logistics
- Coordinate multi-sectoral response with partners
- Develop and monitor project proposals and funding
- Ensure compliance with DRC policies and donor regulations
- Represent DRC in stakeholder meetings
- Promote professional development and capacity building
- Manage safety, security and access protocols
