About the Role

The Base Manager will oversee all operational and programmatic activities at the Humera base, coordinating a multi-sectoral response with partners, managing staff and resources, ensuring compliance with donor and DRC policies, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships to support humanitarian objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational and programmatic planning for the base
  • Supervise staff, finance, admin, HR, procurement and logistics
  • Coordinate multi-sectoral response with partners
  • Develop and monitor project proposals and funding
  • Ensure compliance with DRC policies and donor regulations
  • Represent DRC in stakeholder meetings
  • Promote professional development and capacity building
  • Manage safety, security and access protocols
