The Community Facilitator / EORE Trainer supports the implementation of EORE and victim assistance activities in Afar, delivering risk education and training while ensuring high-quality standards and effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support EORE officer with planning of EORE tasks
- Provide basic risk education to communities
- Recommend advanced risk education interventions
- Design and adapt local IEC materials per IMAS standards
- Deliver EORE ToT to CFPs
- Conduct explosive ordnance risk education activities
- Implement quality management systems for EORE delivery
- Maintain safety SOP compliance and communicate security changes
