The Community Development Facilitator will lead community-level planning and execution of drought anticipatory action interventions in Elidar Woreda, Afar Region, coordinating livestock health, water rehabilitation, and cash-for-work activities while engaging stakeholders and ensuring inclusive participation.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of drought anticipatory action activities in Elidar Woreda
- Mobilize and engage community members for project interventions
- Coordinate water supply rehabilitation, livestock feed distribution, vaccination campaigns, and cash-for-work activities
- Collect and organize beneficiary data and field reports
- Monitor progress and report risks to the project team
- Engage with local government and community leaders
- Ensure culturally appropriate implementation of projects
