The Community Development Facilitator will lead field-level implementation of drought‑anticipatory actions in Afar’s Elidar Woreda, coordinating livestock and water interventions, community mobilization, and monitoring activities to strengthen resilience among pastoral households.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of anticipatory action activities in Elidar Woreda
- Mobilize community members and engage stakeholders
- Deliver livestock feed, vaccination, and water rehabilitation interventions
- Manage cash‑for‑work projects and monitor progress
- Collect and report beneficiary data
- Coordinate with project teams and local authorities
- Facilitate early warning dissemination and training sessions
