The Chief Operations Officer will architect and execute the company’s end‑to‑end coffee operations, ensuring seamless sourcing, quality control, export compliance, and market expansion while translating strategic vision into operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Translate CEO vision into operational strategy across sourcing, quality control, export logistics and market expansion
- Manage end‑to‑end coffee supply chain from highland smallholders to international buyers
- Oversee regulatory compliance with Ethiopian export laws, FX regulations and Incoterms 2020
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and navigate socio‑political challenges in coffee regions
- Drive financial performance through OpEx/CapEx budgeting and foreign exchange management
- Implement ERP systems for inventory tracking and supply chain visibility
- Maintain quality standards via SCA cupping protocols and Q‑Grader certification
