About the Role

The role involves designing, launching, and building capacity for the Inter-Regional Peacebuilding Initiative (IRPI) in Ethiopia. The consultant will develop curriculum, facilitate training workshops, set up inter-regional clusters, and produce comprehensive reports to strengthen civil society peacebuilding efforts.

Responsibilities

Conduct desk review of project documents and local frameworks
Consult with CECOE and hub representatives to ground the initiative
Prepare inception report and workplan
Develop IRPI curriculum package
Design and facilitate 2‑day capacity building training and 1‑day launch workshop in Addis Ababa
Facilitate setup of three inter-regional clusters and produce governance notes
Mentor cluster teams on joint peacebuilding concept development
Deliver final consultancy report and handover all editable materials
