Embedded DevOps Engineer for Ethiopia’s Ministry of Health, responsible for managing the end‑to‑end technical health of the Health Resource Tracking platform—covering infrastructure provisioning, system administration, data pipelines, visualization, monitoring, security compliance, and capacity building.
Responsibilities
- Oversee cloud and on‑premise infrastructure provisioning and maintenance
- Coordinate with vendors for development, UAT, and production environments
- Administer Linux servers, Docker/Kubernetes clusters, and database services
- Configure data visualization dashboards (Superset/Metabase)
- Set up monitoring and alerting with Grafana/Prometheus
- Ensure security compliance and governance across all systems
- Transfer operational knowledge to Ministry of Health staff
