The Graduate Trainee works alongside managers across various departments, learning all aspects of company operations with the goal of becoming a permanent employee. The role involves meeting performance goals, reporting progress, supporting departmental tasks, and completing a comprehensive management training program.
Responsibilities
- Work across multiple departments to gain a comprehensive view of the business
- Learn line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies
- Set and meet SMART performance goals assigned by upper management
- Report progress on goals and objectives
- Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards
- Provide support in reporting, data‑entry, presentation creation, strategic planning, and customer service as needed
- Attend periodic evaluations
- Achieve a passing score in all areas of the training program to continue
