The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will develop, implement, and oversee the project's MEAL system, ensuring rigorous data collection, analysis, reporting, and accountability to inform project adaptations.
Responsibilities
- Design and update M&E plans and logical frameworks
- Ensure alignment of M&E tools with CEFA and AICS standards
- Supervise baseline, midline, and end line surveys
- Coordinate data collection activities with field teams and partners
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess project progress and impact
- Prepare regular monitoring reports and contribute to donor reporting
- Maintain accountability mechanisms including feedback and complaints systems
- Document lessons learned and support adaptive project management
- Organise learning events and participate in knowledge-sharing forums
- Train staff on M&E tools and data quality standards
- Provide technical support to consortium partners
