About the Role

The Program Director leads CARE Ethiopia’s program strategy, ensuring high-quality, evidence‑based interventions that advance poverty eradication and social justice while mobilizing resources and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program design, development, and implementation
  • Oversee resource mobilization and donor relations
  • Manage a team of project managers
  • Ensure monitoring & evaluation systems demonstrate impact
  • Develop advocacy agenda aligned with national strategies
  • Build partnerships with government, donors, NGOs and civil society
  • Promote gender equality and inclusion in all programs
