The QA Officer inspects incoming raw maize to ensure it meets the company’s food safety and quality standards, records findings, maintains documentation, monitors storage conditions, and supports corrective measures.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw maize deliveries
- Check for moisture, foreign matter, and damage
- Identify mold, pests, discoloration, and contamination
- Collect samples for quality testing
- Accept or reject raw maize based on inspection results
- Record inspection findings accurately
- Monitor proper storage conditions for raw maize
- Maintain inspection records and quality reports
- Support corrective actions for non-conforming materials
