Junior Accountant

About the Role

Responsible for end-to-end accounting tasks including coding, journal voucher creation, ledger postings, depreciation calculations, and supporting financial statement preparation to aid organizational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting entries from coding to statement preparation
• Validate data entry coding for collection and disbursement division
• Create journal vouchers upon receipt of transactions
• Post to general ledger and sub-ledgers promptly
• Assist in financial analysis and release statements for decision making
• Calculate depreciation of fixed assets per schedule
• Perform additional related duties as assigned
