The Finance Department Head directs all financial operations, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and effective budgeting while providing strategic financial guidance to the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise finance and accounting team
- Develop financial policies and internal controls
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor performance
- Produce monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions
- Ensure timely tax payments and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate audits
- Monitor expenditures and recommend cost-control measures
- Provide financial analysis to senior management
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Identify risks and suggest mitigation strategies
- Support strategic planning and investment decisions
