The Human Resource & Administration Manager develops and enforces HR policies, manages recruitment and employee relations, oversees payroll and benefits, and ensures administrative operations run smoothly to support the organization’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategy
- Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and orientation programs
- Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation
- Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions
- Oversee performance appraisal systems and ensure timely evaluations
- Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor law, safety guidelines, and company rules
- Manage payroll inputs, benefits, leave administration, and staff attendance
- Build positive organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives
- Oversee office administration, facilities management, and logistics
- Ensure efficient management of company assets, office supplies, and inventory
- Supervise administrative staff (drivers, cleaners, guards, etc.)
- Manage company transport, fleet schedules, and vehicle maintenance
- Ensure timely renewal of business licenses, contracts, and service agreements
- Handle correspondence, document control, and meeting coordination
