About the Role

The Human Resource & Administration Manager develops and enforces HR policies, manages recruitment and employee relations, oversees payroll and benefits, and ensures administrative operations run smoothly to support the organization’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategy
  • Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and orientation programs
  • Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation
  • Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions
  • Oversee performance appraisal systems and ensure timely evaluations
  • Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs
  • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor law, safety guidelines, and company rules
  • Manage payroll inputs, benefits, leave administration, and staff attendance
  • Build positive organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives
  • Oversee office administration, facilities management, and logistics
  • Ensure efficient management of company assets, office supplies, and inventory
  • Supervise administrative staff (drivers, cleaners, guards, etc.)
  • Manage company transport, fleet schedules, and vehicle maintenance
  • Ensure timely renewal of business licenses, contracts, and service agreements
  • Handle correspondence, document control, and meeting coordination
  • Monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance
