Accountant

About the Role

The Accountant will manage daily financial activities, including tax preparation, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with Ethiopian accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax documents including VAT, WHT income tax and pension
• Process payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian Accounting Standards
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash management
• Maintain accurate financial records in Peachtree
• Prepare payment vouchers and ensure appropriate documentation
