The Junior Legal & Compliance Officer supports AZ Pipe Manufacturing’s legal and regulatory functions by drafting contracts, coordinating with external counsel, monitoring laws, updating policies, and ensuring compliance across operations.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and assist in negotiating contracts, agreements, MOUs, and other legal documents
- Coordinate with external lawyers, consultants, regulators, and government offices
- Assess laws, regulations, and internal policies and brief management on implications
- Develop, review, and update internal policies, procedures, and compliance manuals
- Ensure operations align with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
- Monitor updates and translate them into practical actions
- Maintain legal documentation, licenses, permits, and statutory records
- Assist in company registrations, renewals, and filings
- Provide research summaries and compliance briefs to stakeholders
- Support audits, investigations, and compliance reviews
