About the Role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of health and protection activities in Benishangul Gumuz. The role involves managing budgets, supervising staff, ensuring donor compliance, coordinating with partners, and maintaining high-quality primary healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of project activities according to proposal, work plans, budgets and donor requirements
  • Ensure timely achievement of objectives, outputs and indicators
  • Develop and monitor detailed implementation plans
  • Conduct field visits for supervision and progress assessment
  • Identify operational challenges and propose corrective actions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to staff
  • Manage budget expenditures and prepare forecasts
  • Support donor financial reporting
  • Represent organization in regional coordination meetings
  • Maintain collaboration with health bureaus, local authorities and UN agencies
  • Ensure compliance with security procedures and risk management
