The Logistics Assistant supports the Project Manager in managing vehicle fleets, base logistics, safety protocols, and inventory for MdM Germany staff, ensuring efficient operations across field sites.
Responsibilities
- Assist with implementing logistics policies and procedures
- Support fleet management and vehicle maintenance
- Ensure safety and security of staff, assets and vehicles
- Manage fuel procurement and consumption reports
- Prepare weekly travel plans and coordinate driver rosters
- Maintain inventory and office supplies at the base
- Oversee communication equipment and IT devices
- Conduct facility inspections and minor rehabilitation work
- Assist with waste management and sanitation
- Train security guards and manage duty rosters
