Research assistant responsible for conducting advanced bioinformatics analyses across genomics projects, supporting laboratory work, managing data workflows, and contributing to scientific writing and grant development within the Cancer and NCD Division.
Responsibilities
- Perform bioinformatics analyses of genomics, transcriptomics and metagenomics data
- Assist in planning and conducting laboratory experiments
- Manage project tasks and field supervision
- Analyze and interpret experimental data
- Provide technical support to researchers
- Write reports, reviews, summaries, manuscripts and technical documents
- Develop and refine bioinformatics scripts and pipelines
- Maintain genomic datasets and submit to public databases
- Support PI/Co‑PI with manuscript drafting and grant proposal preparation
