About the Role

The Finance Officer (III) will lead Ethiopia’s finance and administration functions, managing budgets, audits, grants, and financial reporting to support AGRA’s agricultural transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial analysis and reporting for Ethiopia
  • Prepare periodic finance reports and account reconciliations
  • Resolve invoicing and accounting discrepancies
  • Support annual audit processes with standard and custom reports
  • Initiate and manage budgets and forecasts under AGRA policies
  • Maintain fixed asset register and coordinate verifications
  • Oversee staff providing financial and admin support
  • Create necessary journal entries
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable activities
  • Collaborate with finance and HR on financial statements
  • Reconcile general ledger balances, invoices and credit card statements
  • Set guidelines for ledgers and tax filings
  • Organize payroll and vendor payments
  • Streamline finance reporting and budgeting processes
