The Associate Program Officer leads the design, implementation, and monitoring of youth, gender, and enterprise development initiatives across AGRA’s focus countries, driving partnership building, policy advocacy, and program management to enhance employment opportunities for young people and women.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic recommendations to country teams on youth engagement and business development services
- Design and implement innovative strategies for agricultural enterprise growth
- Monitor program timelines and deliverables
- Analyze data on youth program performance
- Identify job creation opportunities and support entrepreneurship
- Build and nurture partnerships with stakeholders
- Support policy advocacy and technical assistance
- Develop workshops and training sessions for youth and women
