The Associate Program Officer – Safeguarding will design and implement AGRA’s gender and safeguarding policies in Ethiopia, leading risk assessments, developing tools, training teams, and ensuring compliance with national labor standards while promoting safe, inclusive agricultural practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead gender and safeguarding policy implementation at country level
- Conduct risk analyses for youth and women
- Develop safeguarding frameworks and tools
- Coordinate training and capacity building for staff, partners, and grantees
- Monitor and report on safeguards indicators
- Engage stakeholders including NGOs, CSOs, government entities
