The Associate Program Officer will design, implement and monitor programs that empower youth and women agripreneurs in Ethiopia’s vegetable value chains, focusing on seed systems, climate‑smart inputs, digital extension and postharvest technologies to enhance productivity and resilience.
Responsibilities
- Support youth groups and women agripreneurs in seed production and marketing
- Strengthen aggregation models for climate‑smart inputs
- Partner with suppliers to increase supply of nutrition‑dense varieties
- Provide small business development training
- Facilitate digital extension services
- Support access to postharvest technologies
- Develop knowledge‑sharing products
- Collaborate with country teams on YEFFA Ethiopia program
