The Associate Grants Officer supports AGRA’s grants management team in Addis Ababa, overseeing pre‑award and post‑award functions, ensuring financial and donor compliance, maintaining tracking systems, and providing capacity building to grantees.
Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day grants portfolio for country office
- Assist with grant modifications, amendments and closures
- Track grant pipeline and issue award letters
- Organize grant reviews and committee meetings
- Conduct grantee monitoring and performance checks
- Maintain grant tracking database in AMIS
- Verify expenditure support documentation
- Ensure donor compliance during grant life cycle
- Participate in due diligence and risk assessments
- Provide training and technical assistance to grantees
