About the Role

The Chef prepares, cooks, and presents high‑quality meals in line with approved menus while ensuring food safety, hygiene, and efficient kitchen operations. The role requires strong culinary skills, HACCP knowledge, teamwork, and the ability to manage large‑volume production at a remote site.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals per approved menus
  • Ensure timely service with high quality standards
  • Monitor food quality, taste, texture, and presentation
  • Assist buffet setup and display
  • Maintain hygiene and follow HACCP procedures
  • Control portion sizes to minimize waste
  • Organize kitchen workstations and prep ingredients
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Manage stock control and report shortages
  • Support operations during all meal services
  • Train junior staff when required
