The Junior Finance Officer will handle day‑to‑day financial record keeping, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, tax filings, and support the senior finance staff with audit and budgeting tasks at Alazar Mamo Construction Company.
Responsibilities
- Accurately record financial transactions and journal entries
- Process supplier invoices and manage receivables
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Maintain physical and digital filing systems
- Assist in preparing tax declarations for VAT, withholding tax, pension, and employment income tax
- Support senior finance team during monthly closing, external audits, and budget preparation
