The Project Manager leads planning, implementation, coordination, and performance management of an equine welfare development project, ensuring effective delivery through strategy oversight, stakeholder engagement, MEL, finance, and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Translate project goals into detailed work plans and oversee implementation of all components
- Ensure welfare activities meet EARS methodology and animal welfare standards
- Manage alumni tracer system and strengthen regional clusters
- Coordinate communication among partners and facilitate workshops
- Establish and manage a results-based MEL system, preparing regular reports
- Align budgets with Finance Officer, monitor spending, and approve major expenditures
