The HTS Officer delivers targeted HIV testing services, manages linkage and retention processes, and monitors program performance at supported health facilities. The role requires strong clinical, analytical, and communication skills to improve HIV case identification and care outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct baseline assessments and develop improvement plans
- Provide HIV testing services including index case testing
- Ensure linkage, retention, and follow‑up of positive clients
- Manage data entry and performance monitoring tools
- Coordinate with care and treatment teams for missed appointments
- Support staff training and mentorship
- Prepare reports for program management
