The HTS Officer delivers targeted HIV testing services at selected Ethiopian health facilities, ensuring linkage to care and retention of newly diagnosed patients while monitoring program performance and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct baseline assessments and develop improvement plans
- Provide targeted HIV testing services (e.g., index case testing)
- Ensure linkage and retention of newly diagnosed patients
- Maintain accurate test logs and reporting tools
- Coordinate with care, treatment, and advocacy teams
- Mentor staff and manage temporary personnel
- Analyze data to improve testing cascades
- Support additional program activities as needed
