About the Role

The Administrative Assistant supports the AfCFTA-AU Liaison Office by managing day‑to‑day administrative tasks, coordinating meetings, handling communications, maintaining records, and assisting with budget and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the department
  • Assist in activity planning and operational scheduling
  • Coordinate meetings, invitations, travel and accommodation for participants
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on facilities, security and procurement matters
  • Support budget preparation and monitoring with Finance
  • Maintain confidential records and filing systems
  • Prepare correspondences, reports, presentations and briefing papers
  • Monitor meeting outcomes and follow up on implementation
