The Junior Control Room Operator supports the Law Enforcement Control Room at Gambella National Park, managing communications, monitoring ranger activities, recording incidents, and coordinating emergency responses to ensure effective park operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor radio and communication systems
- Maintain continuous communication with patrols and field units
- Record all communications in logbook
- Relay operational information to supervisors
- Assist emergency response coordination
- Track patrol movements via GPS or mapping software
- Update status boards and operational maps
- Report incidents and suspicious activity promptly
- Compile daily summaries and incident reports
- Support weekly and monthly reporting
- Ensure equipment functionality and maintenance
