The Marketplace Operations Manager oversees day‑to‑day marketplace activities—vendor relations, buyer journeys, product listings, orders, payments, logistics, and customer support—to ensure a reliable, transaction‑ready platform that enhances user experience and marketplace trust.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily marketplace operations including vendors, buyers, listings, orders, payments, logistics, and support cases
- Develop and implement operating procedures
- Monitor product listing quality, order completion, customer complaints, vendor performance, and buyer experience
- Coordinate with technology teams to improve platform functionality and user experience
- Work with logistics partners for fulfilment, delivery coordination, returns, and last‑mile linkages
- Collaborate with finance teams on payments, merchant transactions, wallet usage, and settlement issues
- Track operational KPIs and prepare regular reports for management
