Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by scrubbing in and handling instruments
- Maintain a sterile field following protocols
- Communicate with the surgical team for smooth procedure flow
- Anticipate surgeon needs and provide instruments and supplies
- Assist with instrument counting before and after surgery
- Prepare and maintain operating room equipment and supplies
- Clean and sterilize instruments per established procedures
