The role leads ActionAid Ethiopia’s communication strategy, producing diverse media assets to showcase program impact and enhance public engagement across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead communication, branding, and visibility initiatives
- Produce high‑quality materials such as success stories, case studies, newsletters, annual reports, brochures, speeches, and donor products
- Coordinate media engagement, press releases, campaigns, and public relations activities
- Document programme achievements, lessons learned, humanitarian responses, and impact stories
- Manage and update the organization’s website and digital communication platforms
- Develop engaging social media content and monitor digital engagement
- Coordinate production of publications, photography, videos, and other visibility materials
- Build staff, partner, and community capacity in storytelling, ethical communication, and branding
