About the Role

The Assessment Officer designs, implements, and reports on humanitarian assessments, coordinating with field, data, GIS, and partner teams to produce actionable research outputs that inform program decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee research cycles
  • Design and review data collection tools
  • Conduct secondary data reviews and contextual analyses
  • Coordinate primary data collection and monitor quality
  • Draft assessment ToRs, methodological notes, and research outputs
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data
  • Engage stakeholders and present findings
  • Ensure secure data management
  • Support dissemination materials and presentations
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to learning processes
