The PPIC Executive/Officer coordinates demand, procurement, and plant production to optimize capacity usage, maintain lean inventory, and minimize downtime in a steel manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute master production schedules
- Align sales forecasts with plant capacity
- Monitor and adjust production plans for disruptions
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and safety stock
- Conduct stock audits and reconcile records
- Translate production plans into MRP
- Coordinate procurement for raw material availability
- Ensure ERP/SAP utilization and KPI monitoring
- Prepare variance reports for leadership
- Support ERP/MRP process optimization
