The Garage In-Charge supervises daily garage operations, performs hands‑on maintenance on heavy equipment, manages fleet performance, ensures safety compliance, and leads a technical team to maintain high reliability of company vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex maintenance and repairs on vehicles and heavy machinery
- Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans
- Manage workshop floor operations and resolve mechanical failures
- Maintain detailed service records and ERP data
- Monitor fleet performance and fuel consumption
- Lead toolbox meetings and enforce PPE compliance
- Analyze KPIs and implement cost-saving measures
- Mentor and develop the technical workshop team
