The Financial Controller will lead the accounting team to manage import trade finance, treasury operations, and financial controls within SAP, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance to support strategic decisions for Abyssinia Group.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial accounting and trade finance operations
- Manage capital-intensive import and LC transactions
- Optimize working capital facilities
- Provide accurate management reporting
- Coordinate with banks, customs authorities, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies
- Supervise bank reconciliations and cash flow activities
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reports
- Conduct material cost analysis
