About the Role

The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, ledger management, and payroll while supervising a team of accountants to ensure accurate and compliant financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian Financial Reporting Standards and tax regulations
  • File VAT, withholding and payroll taxes
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Implement internal controls and support audits
  • Manage payroll calculations and pension contributions
  • Supervise junior accounting staff
