The Lead Mechanical Tech will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of factory machinery, lead a team of technicians, and ensure safe, efficient operation through planning, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical/electromechanical/pneumatic equipment
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules
- Coordinate resources for smooth machine operation
- Fabricate, modify, and renovate mechanical components
- Ensure safe work site setup
- Conduct diagnostic tests and determine repairs
- Maintain inventory of supplies and parts
- Prepare technical reports
- Lead technicians and coordinate with production
- Provide motivation to subordinates
