The Store Keeper manages receipt, storage, issuance, and record‑keeping of construction materials, ensuring accurate inventory control, safety, and coordination with procurement and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock balances
- Issue materials according to approved requests and procedures
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock situations
- Ensure proper arrangement, labeling, and storage of materials
- Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliation
- Maintain proper documentation including bin cards, stock registers, and issue vouchers
- Ensure safe handling and storage of construction materials and equipment
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams regarding material requirements
- Keep the store clean, organized, and secure at all times
